UIC summer greetings

Dear all,

At the UIC we are pleased to send our best summer greetings to all internationals and Danes at Aarhus University.

What a wonderful semester it has been! Now summer has reached our little country, Denmark, and it is time for many to enjoy their holidays. Some will probably spend their summer in another country, others are looking forward to enjoy the Danish summer, which often includes the savouring of hand-picked strawberries with cream in the afternoons or a sizzling barbeque with friends at the beach watching the sun set late in the evening.

As many of you have already noticed, the UIC founder and organiser Gitte Haahr-Andersen has retired. As always, it is sad to say goodbye to a passionate soul. However, the UIC will continue to offer events and news to international academic staff at Aarhus University, and hence we can happily announce that we are looking forward to meeting you all again on the other side of the summer holidays.

What to do during the summer holiday in the greater Aarhus area?

There are plenty of exiting “summer to-do’s” in and around Aarhus - the City of Smiles:

Also, International Community offers a packed summer programme for internationals in Aarhus.

We wish all of you a wonderful summer full of fun and memorable experiences!

Best summer greetings from the UIC.
