GSST now accepts and processes screening grant applications as they are received, so don’t wait to apply.

Screening of prospective PhD students is an effective tool in the process of recruiting PhD students. A screening period is a good way to get to know the PhD prospect and assess the person face to face.

Only members of the academic staff (supervisors) at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Aarhus University, can apply for funding.

Based on funding from Aarhus University Research Foundation (AUFF) and own resources, Graduate School of Science and Technology (GSST) provides funding for screening of foreign research talents for PhD studies at GSST, Aarhus University.

Funding can be granted for a period of maximum of 90 days. The prospect can attend courses, summer schools, workshops, laboratory work and prepare a PhD application. Qualitative assessment of the prospect will be made with a view to potential admission to a PhD programme at GSST.
