The elections to the Aarhus University Board, the Academic Councils, the study boards and the PhD committees take place 13-16 November 2017.

As for the Aarhus University Board, only non-employed PhD students can be nominated and vote.

As for the Academic Council, only non-employed PhD students are up for elections. See the current members of the Academic Council here.

As for the Study Boards, both staff and students are up for election, which means that both employed and non-employed PhD students can run for election and vote.

As for the PhD committee, both employed and non-employed PhD students can run for election and vote.


The election fields for the PhD committee are:
• Department of Agroecology, Department of Environmental Science
• Department of Bioscience
• Department of Computer Science, Department of Geoscience, Department of Engineering
• Department of Physics and Astronomy, Department of Chemistry, Department of Mathematics, iNANO
• Department of Food Science, Department of Animal Science
• Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics
