EMBO course: Spetsai Summer School 2017 - Proteins and Organised Complexity

Course information

The Spetsai Summer School takes place on the Greek island Spetsai where several different lecturers will give specialised lectures on their research area. In addition to this, the  PhD students will benefit from the close interaction between participants and lecturers.

This year the course will link a system-oriented view of protein-protein interactions with the molecular principles of these interactions and their implications in human disease. Emphasis will include currently emerging fundamental concepts as well as cutting-edge methods that allow interrogation of biological systems at different scales: from that of single molecules to complex networks. The course will integrate a range of experimental approaches with a more global understanding of the many interactions that proteins can engage in.

Professor Daniel Otzen is chairman for the organising committee, and you can read more about the course on the official course website.
