The head of PhD school appoints the supervisor(s) for each student based on the recommendations of the programme committee:

  • One main supervisor, who is a recognised researcher and a permanent member of the scientific staff attached to GSST and formally responsible for the PhD project
  • Optional co-supervisors who are employed either within or outside the university.

GSST must approve the supervisors as being qualified within the field in question.
