Title: 32/38 Quantitative Medical Graphics
Description: The theoretical foundation for creation and display of quantitative graphs (graphical coding) is described. The structures of graphs are covered with a description of factors and elements of importance for effective reading of graphs (decoding). Advantages and disadvantages of various types of graphs are discussed by comparing various graphing methods applied to data sets. The course uses the SigmaPlot graphical software by which the participants will learn to produce clear graphs. In addition, exchange of data between Windows based programmes and SigmaPlot will be covered in theory and practise.
