AUPA is born to serve all PhD students at Aarhus University. Not only do we act as an umbrella organization for the local PhD associations at Aarhus University, we also act directly at the political level seeking to influence decision-makers on topics relevant to PhD-students at university. We initiate outgoing activities and are currently working to host an event on Women in Science in 2019.

In the board there are three seats for each faculty and we aim to have representatives of the local PhD associations. The board meets five-six times a year, and General Assembly is held in spring.

We invite to the AUPA’s General Assembly on the 6th of March.

We encourage all PhD students at Aarhus University to participate - to raise their voice about pressing issues they want AUPA to consider or to join and be an active member of the board.
