University International Club (UIC) in close cooperation with International Community (IC) welcome all internationals at Aarhus University and in Aarhus to a seminar about childbirth in Denmark.

Childbirth in Denmark

As a mother-to-be your hormones are raging through your body. You have a thousand questions, and then you realise that you will be giving birth in a foreign country! That certainly doesn't contribute to ease at mind.

What to do? Where to go? How does the system work? Is it true that you never meet an obgyn?

At this introduction to pregnancy & birth in Denmark, you will get insight into how the Danish national health system treats pregnancy and childbirth. We will look into different topics, such as the structure, the medical exams as well as the options you have.

Speaker

The guest speaker at this very useful seminar is Tiny Maerschalk, Head of International Community. She is an international herself and a mother of two, and has experienced the system from a foreigners point of view. Hence, Tiny will be able to guide you and answer your questions.
