Register

University International Club (UIC) in close cooperation with International Community (IC) welcome all internationals at Aarhus University and in Aarhus to a seminar about renting a property in Denmark.

The Danish housing market

Navigating the housing market in a foreign country is not the easiest task. You might bump into many questions on your way, which you find very difficult to figure out an answer to.

Do I pay for heat and water? Are there other costs that I should be aware of? What about my deposit, do I get it back? Are there any unwritten rules - if yes, how do I figure them out?

Answers to these and other basic questions will help you understand and anticipate the possible consequences of your decisions.

Speaker

The guest speaker at this seminar is Carina Ringgaard Christiansen, CEO at Phoenix Home. Having a degree in Financial Management with a specialisation in property management and years of hand-on experience with the rental market, she will lay out the key rules of the Danish rental market.
