Aarhus University is taking steps to make it easier for junior researchers to plan their careers: A comprehensive new career development programme, and a new university-wide website are now available to junior researchers at AU - assistant professors, postdocs, and tenure track researchers.

The Junior Researcher Development Programme offers a variety of courses organised in four career tracks, which allow junior researchers to choose exactly the track that suits them and their future career path the best. Through the wide range of courses, participants have the opportunity to target and develop competencies, which are valued in both the private and public sector. Career guidance is a central aspect of the programme. AU Career PhD & JR offers guidance and counselling on choosing a career path, in addition to a variety of career and network events.

The new website, Junior Researcher at Aarhus University is the programme platform. Present and future young AU-researchers can explore the programme and find relevant information, such as vacant positions, grant opportunities, employment conditions, and collaboration with business and industry.
