                    <description>This event will focus on the key considerations involved in deciding which paths to pursue, and we will explore the different factors that are essential when choosing between staying in academia or transitioning to a career beyond academia.</description>
                    <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p id="paragraph">Most young researchers face the big question of whether to pursue a career in academia, or to take the leap and pursue opportunities in industry/public sector. This pivotal question often comes with a range of emotions, uncertainties, and big decisions.</p>
<p id="paragraph">This event will&nbsp;focus on the key considerations involved in deciding which paths to pursue, and we will explore the different factors that are essential when choosing between staying in academia or transitioning to a career beyond academia. We will discuss the difference between academia and industry, and you will be working with understanding your values and drivers so that you can make decisions that match who you are and how you would like your future work-life to be.</p>

                    <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>PhD Career Day is an annual physical career fair where you will meet several companies and hear about your opportunities to start a non-academic career.</p>
<p>PhD Career Day&nbsp;is exclusively aimed at PhD students and postdocs from the following three faculties: Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, and Health Sciences.&nbsp;The participating companies will therefore cover industries within the field of Natural,&nbsp;Technical&nbsp;and Health Sciences. &nbsp;</p>
<p>The companies will have a stand where you can meet them face-to-face and hear about how your skills and attributes are useful for the companies.&nbsp;</p>
