PhD Career Week is a 3-day virtual event (20-22 April), where young researchers can join exciting career-related workshops, learn more about their career prospects, meet with companies and network.

AU Career PhD & JR is happy to present to you: Virtual PhD Career Week!  

PhD Career Week will span over three days, bringing you online workshops and company presentations, with relevant content for all PhDs and JRs across all 5 faculties of AU. Each morning will start off with workshops, organized in collaboration with DM, IDA, and The Kitchen. The workshops will be followed by company presentations spread over the three afternoons, each 45 minutes long.  

You can pick and choose the sessions in accordance with your interest and availability.  

Before the event, all registered participants will receive Zoom links for the individual sessions on the programme.

Career Workshops

9.00-10.15Working in Denmark as an International PhD (IDA)

What does the future look like after your PhD? Only 1/10 PhD’s continue their career in academia. If you are interested in learning more about the transition from academia to the Danish labour market, this is the webinar for you. You will learn more about what the Danish labour market looks like for International PhDs and what to be aware of when entering the labour market. Get all the insights from IDA’s international consultant and hear a personal case story from a former Ph.D student now working in Denmark.

This workshop will help formulate your CV: what information to include, and how to translate research experience into a CV aimed at industry. We also cover LinkedIn: how it supplements your application, and how to successfully market yourself.
