AUPA will seek to advocate for the interests of Ph.D. students at AUs in matters such as, but not limited to, well-being, work-life balance, career- and talent development, and consistent and transparent administrative practices across the faculties at AU. 

In the past, AUPA has focused on the challenges facing PhD students during the COVID-19 pandemic, the PhD student-supervisor relationship, as well as boarder topics such as improving the PhD conference.
