The Danish unemployment system is complicated and as an international, it can be hard to navigate inside it and become aware of what your rights are as an employee in Denmark. If you are an international who is not yet a member of an unemployment fund (Danish: A-kasse) and unsure if you should join one, this webinar is for you! Together with representatives from two different Danish unemployment funds, our speaker will cover topics such as:
- What an A-kasse/unemployment fund is and how they work
- Why they are important
- What they can do for you
- Pros and cons of joining/not joining one
You will, of course, be able to ask whatever questions you may have. The webinar is free; however, registration is needed. The webinar is aimed at all international PhD students and Junior Researchers at Aarhus University.
